I was afraid to write this blog post.
I was nervous about the feedback I would get.
I didn’t want to share this video I made because I didn’t know if it would be received well.
But the best part about Praxis is they push you to do things that you’re scared to do.
So to get over that fear here is me sharing my helpful opinion about a website that’s important to me.
What I cover in this video:
A brief description of what this video is
A brief description of what THM is
Why this website is a good one
What I like about this website
The impression I got from looking on it and
What could be improved.
I was scared to share it because I didn’t know how someone would react to my critique. It’s easy for me to write a critique. But talking about it in a video is much harder.
Yet here I am.
I’ve decided to share this with you not because Praxis told me to, but because I believe it to be truly helpful.
I’m not just sharing my opinion. I’m being genuinely helpful and sharing my thoughts on something that matters to me.
So even if you don’t watch the video (I don’t blame you — it’s 15 minutes long), I want you to leave this blog post knowing this:
You can never get a good reason to not share a helpful opinion. Fear should not hold you back from showing how you can help someone.
Remember that next time you decide to critique. Is it helpful? If so, then don’t be afraid.
That’s a worthy opinion to share.
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
